Nordic Operations Student Assistant

As our Nordic Operations Student Assistant, you will be in the heart of the daily operations where solving challenges and improving processes is key to our success. About the role:

The operations team is responsible for Customer Service and Supply Chain within the Nordic and Baltic region acting as the swiss army knife of the organization. Two days will likely not be the same, as you will become the firefighter of the team and supporting the functions that are needing it the most. One day you may be focusing on supply chain related topics and the next day ensuring that orders are entered correctly into our ERP system. You collaborate with colleagues from all our departments to provide our customers the best service and solutions. 

 

Your tasks:

Customer Service:

  • Support our Nordic sales departments with order and product related questions
  • Order entry into our ERP system
  • Follow up on critical orders
  • Coordinate and support customer projects and campaigns together with the sales and project team
  • Be responsible for the backend of our web shop.

Supply Chain:

  • Handle and follow up on returns from customers to local and central warehouses
  • Reporting on availability, excess stock, obsolete stock, blocked orders, delayed orders etc. using our business applications.
  • Checking product availability and carry out availability improvements.
  • Initiale transportation claims
  • Coordinate special transportation when required both inside and outside EU
  • Coordinate with external suppliers on open purchase orders
  • Bring new ideas to the table about how we can improve our workflows

 

About you:

  • Have an interest in Supply Chain or Operational tasks and possibly studying one of the subjects.
  • Preferably fluent in either SwedishNorwegian or Finnish
  • Fluent in English on business level
  • IT savvy and eager to learn new systems
  • Have minimum 2 years remaining of your studies
  • Have experience with excel and data analysis
  • Have a “Can Do” attitude and a “One Team” thinking
