For our location in Blackpool we are looking for

Repair Centre Technician

Tasks:

  • Configure, Installation, Support and repair of all Vocollect hardware and associated firmware and software.
  • Configure, Installation, Support and repair of all 3rd party handheld and truck mount hardware and associated firmware and software.
  • Ensure configuration information is correctly stored a managed using several mobile device management (MDM) solutions
  • The maintaining of the correct usage of the fault reporting system
  • Assist with the repair centre team in call logging and processing customer repair tickets
  • Assist with deliveries and booking in of faulty equipment
  • Maintain and update repair documentation
  • Maintain and assist with repair centre processes and documentation
  • Attend regular department meetings, updating the team with any findings
  • Assist with weekly and monthly reports
  • Assist with dispatching of orders and repairs
  • Assist on various hardware installations projects
  • Assist the repair centre manager with building maintenance tasks
  • Performs daily administration tasks
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Repair Centre Manager

Qualifications:

  • Any relevant qualifications or experience covering the above will be considered.
